Application Overview

The Performance application is divided into logical sections to improve user work-flow.

  Name Function
1 Main Menu This is where you will find typical file commands like open, save etc., application options and a list of recent files
2 Application Modes An Application Mode is a focused process or high level task. A mode will have specific tools, views and work flows to help you accomplish the specific task.
3 Application Tools Application level tools like NetSetter and Device Panel appear in this area. Opening one of these tools will open the tool in the Workspace area.
4 The Modal Toolbar This area presents the various tools required for the current Application Mode. For example, in Design Mode, this area presents tools to create new arrays and modify the high level system design. In Test Mode, this area introduces the Grouping Panel and Signal Generator sections.
5 System Views Changing system views changes the graphical overlay on the workspace. Each Application Mode has a specific set of System Views that can be accessed from the views drop-down to accomplish a specific task.
6 Views Toolbar This toolbar presents the tools directly related the given view such as Alignment Tools in Design Mode.
7 The Workspace In this area, the selected view will show it's overlay on the system designed.
8 The Status Bar This tool bar reveals the application's connected state and various parameters related the system and discovered devices.
